Are you the best teammate you can be? According to a study by the Harvard Business Review, 75% of cross-functional teams are dysfunctional. Team projects are complex and team communication can be awkward and frustrating.
However, working productively in teams is when we accomplish our best work. Learning to be an advanced collaborator is a critical skill in today’s work environment - especially once we add common team complexities like remote members and diverse backgrounds.
When it comes to contributing as an all-star teammate, hard skills are not enough. To add value in our functional role we need to sharpen communication skills that make us stronger collaborators and contributors.
Attendees of this teamwork dynamics session will leave with actionable communication skills that will amplify their team contribution - skills like professional presence, effective listening, and how to contribute in support of your teammates’ success.
